Present your paper at our 20th International Conference on Buddhist Women
Conference theme: Shaping Futures: Healing Bodies, Minds, and Communities.
The Academic Program Committee is now receiving paper proposals for the 20th Sakyadhita International Conference on Buddhist Women. This year we are also celebrating the 40th anniversary of Sakyadhita.
Submit your proposalPlease note that this will be an in-person conference, and participants must register and plan accordingly. Paper presenters are responsible for their own conference-related travel and participation fees.
Key dates
Paper proposals of approximately 250 words, submitted through the proposal form.
Notification of acceptance is sent to all applicants.
2,000 words maximum for 10-minute papers, to be edited and translated into various languages.

All proposals and papers must be the original, unpublished work of the presenters.
Using AI as an assistive tool
- โ You may use AI tools to assist in the editing of text
- โ You may use AI tools to edit or enhance images, as long as the images are your own original work
Using AI as a generative tool
- โ You may not submit any AI-generated content, including text, translations, or images
- โ You may not use AI tools to generate or create images or other illustrative materials
โ At the time of proposal submission, authors must fully indicate their use of all AI tools.
